It’s that time of the year when cold’s come creeping in our body, due to our wet and cold fall.  What tea can you use for colds? Everyone wants to know of a quick, easy and effective tea to make. Prepare this tea to soothe sore throats and clear cold’s and flus, as it has plenty of lemon and ginger to chase sickness out of your system.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger (or more to taste), peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 medium lemon, cut into slices
  • 1 teaspoon honey, or to taste

Place the water, ginger, lemon juice, and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat until heated through. Pour the mixture through a strainer into a mug and drink.  For the more adventurous types, and add 1 ounce of whiskey to super-charge the tea.
